Art Exhibitions planned at Canticle Center



The Lourdes University Department of Art is pleased to announce its 2016 Art Exhibitions to be featured at the Canticle Center Gallery, 5335 Silica Drive, in Sylvania. Mark your calendar for these exciting displays of art in various mediums.

Spring Student Art Exhibition
Opening Reception: Saturday, March 19 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Exhibition runs March 19 through April 5

Senior Student Art Exhibition
Opening Reception: Saturday, April 9 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Exhibition runs April 9 through May 5

Department of Art
The Lourdes Department of Art offers two- and four-year degrees in Art and Art History. Students can also choose to pursue a concentration in Pre-Art Therapy. Art majors are encouraged to join one or both of the art-related student organizations – Orbis Ars and the Pre-Art Therapy Association. Other opportunities include participating in the Sr. Jane Mary Sorosiak Lecture Series, working with visiting artists, competing for art department scholarships, and taking courses at the Student Art Centers International (SACI) in Florence, Italy.
