Wrigley Field is one of the most well known baseball fields in the major league, home to the Chicago Cubs. The field was built in 1914 and that means in the upcoming year, the team will be celebrating 100 years with Wrigley Field.
The Chicago Cubs franchise held a contest for the public to design the 100 year anniversary logo. Out of over 1,200 submissions and three finalists, Brandon Ort from New Bremen, Ohio won the contest. A 2007 graduate of Cedarville University, majoring in graphic design, Ort will get to attend the game where the logo is revealed. This logo will be on the stadium, uniforms and other memorabilia throughout the year. Ort will also receive a custom made jersey with his design from the team.
