Toledo Museum of Art Special Guest
If you are in the Toledo area, be sure to check out the museum's live show, Wednesday September 18th at 8pm. The Grammy nominated "Trombone Shorty" (aka Troy Andrews) will be performing as part of the Masters Series that the Toledo Museum sponsors.
Nomination Season!
If you, and/or a friend, are senior art students talk to your art department chair about being nominated for the Award for Excellence in the Visual Arts! It's a great chance to potentially make some money, as well as gain an online portfolio and lot's of exposure to the Ohio art community. All your faculty need to do is send us your name and contact info to msoppelsa@aicuo.edu. Nominations will be closing October 6th.
The Sculpture Design Contest is also accepting applicants. This is a chance for any student in an AICUO school of any major to work along side with a professional artist from Columbus. This year Eric Rausch is the sculptor and he is excited to see your designs. Again, ask your art department chairs, or this blog for the application papers and mail to
