GRANVILLE, Ohio – The Denison Museum unveils a series of exhibitions for the 2017 spring semester. All exhibits are located at the museum (240 West Broadway), which is open from noon to 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday. The exhibits are free and open to the public. For more information, contact the museum at 740-587-6255 or visit Denison.edu.· Feb. 1 to March 24: “Liberal Arts Today,” an exhibit exploring the meaning of a liberal arts education in today’s world, featuring work from the museum’s permanent collection.· Feb. 1 to May 12: “The Art of War: John Lawrence Doyle’s Sharpshooters 76,” a collection of prints from Doyle’s work that critically represents the soldiers who fought in various wars throughout American history.· Feb. 1 to May 12: “The Great War: Illustrations by Jean-Louis Forain,” an exhibition displaying the war’s grim realities as experienced by French artist Jean-Louis Forian, a correspondent for the magazine Le Figaro.
