AICUO Welcomes the 2016-2017 Art Awards Coordinator, Tia Meldrum




Tia grew up in the small town of Corvallis, Montana and has since relocated to Columbus, Ohio. She is currently a Junior at Capital University where she is studying Public Relations with a minor in Marketing. Upon graduation in May of 2017, she plans to actively pursue a career in event planning or sports management. Tia has an affinity for fast-paces, creative environments and hopes to further her career by continuing to working with non-profit organizations.

Outside of her education, Tia is an active member of Capital's collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association and serves as the Vice President of Programming. Her duties include planning chapter operations such as fundraising events and board meetings. Throughout her college career, Tia has grown quite fond of Capital and the Bexley community, and hopes to continue a relationship with the school upon graduation.

Tia is thrilled to take on her first internship as the 2016-2017 Art Awards Coordinator at the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Ohio (AICUO).
