New Exhibit at Riffe Gallery

There is a new exhibit coming to the Ohio Arts Council's Riffe Gallery on July 25. Titled, Poetics of Pattern, and curated by Janice Lessman-Moss of Kent State University it looks into the work of 13 different artists who focus in printmaking and the repetitive pattern of that medium. This exhibit will run until October 6.

There is a opening reception on Thursday July 25 from 5-7 p.m. with food available. The following day, July 26, there will be a tour guided by Lessman-Moss from noon-1 p.m. On Sunday  September 8 from 2-4 p.m. there will be a free family workshop. Children from ages 6-17 can come join Susie Underwood in different repetition decorative exercises. Register online between July 30 and September 3. And on Thursday October 3, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Join the Queen of Fun, writer and poet Mimi Brodsky Chenfeld, for an adult creative writing workshop with an emphasis on poetry. Space is limited to 20 participants. Register online between August 12 and September 27.
