AICUO EVA Alumni-Doing well!

Hello, October! I just got back from a trip to New York City with the Denison University Studio Art Department, and it was a great pleasure to have dinner with an AICUO EVA alumni, Mad Mohre. Mad Mohre, who was the 2008 People's Choice Award winner, is now a working artist living in New York City. She told the Denison seniors and faculty her experience working with art and her latest projects. I was so happy to see that Mad Mohre, along with 2010 finalist Jacs Fishburne, were doing well working as artists and living in New York.

Look on Mad Mohre's page to see her newest exhibition, which involved music, audience participation, and New York musicians.

Here is Jacs Fishburne's website. Her latest project will be taking photos in every National Park across the country.

After hearing about their success, I couldn't help but to search other AICUO EVA Alumni.
For the month of October, we will be featuring Alumni artists and their newest work. If you are an alumni that would like to be featured, please email me at lmartin@aicuo.edu. We would love to hear from you!

Also- 2013 Nominations are due!!! Please contact your dean/chair of your visual arts department if you are a senior artist and you would like to participate in our program.

We are up for nomination for the Governor's Awards for Ohio! Help us win underneath "Community and Participation" by submitting a nomination letter to the Ohio Arts Council website:
