Past Award Winner Gets Accepted into National Portrait Gallery’s BP Portrait Award Show in London

Today is my first blog post as the new AICUO Art Awards Coordinator. My name is Cindy Ellis and I am officially taking over for Noel Ang. This month we wanted to feature and blog about one of our past award winners from our second competition year, Mark Bush.

Mark recently was accepted into the National Portrait Gallery’s BP Portrait Award Show in London for his portrait, “Daniel”. Mark is a fine arts graduate of Columbus College of Art & Design. When looking at his work sometimes it is hard to decipher whether you are looking at a photograph or not, his body of work is no doubt realism. You can see some of his work being shown at Hammond Harkins Galleries in Bexley, Ohio. Also check out his website to get a peek of more of his recent works.

We are always pleased to see our past nominees and finalists doing great things in the art community, congrats Mark!
